Description: Discomfort and pain all over your body. A natural, astonishing and effective method for prevention and self-healing:
The following is a list of the most prominent health issues resulting from a misaligned atlas. Though in many cases a health problem might have multiple causes, we have witnessed positive results in each of the following areas as well as complete recoveries.
Headache and Migraine Why is the Atlas so important for your health?THE ATLAS CRADLES THE HEAD. This is the top of your spine which allows you to turn and nod your head. It also defines the opening available for the spinal cord, nerves and blood vessels going to and from the brain.
This view from below the skull shows a displaced atlas. The atlas is rotated and tilted to the left side. Depending on the rotation angle, a displaced atlas causes a reduction of the volume of the skull opening and the vertebral canal. The neck, shoulders, spine, pelvis and legs must counter the effect of the misaligned Atlas and the imbalanced weight of the head. Over time, pain and stiffness develops all over the body and creates disturbances such as lumbago, herniated disk, scoliosis, jammed spinal nerves, scoliotic pelvis, pain in the hip joints, knee pain, meniscus damage, difference in leg length and more.
Treatment consists of an assessment of your condition including posture, balance and range of movement as well as palpation of the cervical spine. This is followed by a gentle neuromuscular release technique which allows the Atlas to align correctly. The session is completed by repeating the assessment tests . The results of the session can be felt and seen immediately post treatment and further changes can happen over months or even years.
When the Atlas is corrected a regenerating process is activated in your body and the entire human organism begins to function better. Immediately after the Atlas correction, it’s a common experience for people to feel lighter, as the weight of the head is fully supported . There is also a feeling of muscular freedom allowing a greater range of movement in the neck and head. A sense of expansion can be felt as the musculature in the torso relaxes from holding patterns and one can breathe more deeply. Of course, not every medical condition is caused by the Atlas’ misalignment and therefore, not every symptom goes away after this correction. Every person is different and so the healing process and the degree of healing will vary. At the same time, once the flow between the body and the head is restored, the effects of other treatments and therapies are enhanced and the overall wellbeing is improved more quickly. This way, good health is soon restored for many, while others require additional therapies and adjustments to realise the full benefit of the AtlasPROfilax® treatment.
This method is curative as well as preventative and as such is recommended to apply to children as early as possible to ensure their optimal development. At Surfside health we have several complimentary treatments – such as Frequency Specific Microcurrent Therapy (FSMT) and Naturopathic pain relief programs to ensure that you are given the very best opportunity to become pain free and/or reduce symptoms of discomfort significantly. This is the most amazing modality that corrects the master axis of the body – C1 – the top cervical vertebrae!! The first cervical vertebra, the atlas, plays a crucial role in the overall balance of your body. When the atlas is out of place the entire spine follows its error, causing compensatory patterns throughout the body. Though the atlas might only be out of alignment by a few millimeters, this miniscule error can snowball into serious health problems that manifest themselves in a myriad of symptoms.
The head is heavy and the Atlas is its foundation of support. Therefore, when the Atlas is not correctly placed, the rest of the body compensates to maintain balance.
